In Brief
ZK Sync hints at an airdrop. The company posted an announcement regarding an experimental NFT project dubbed “Libertas Omnibus.”
Users who interacted with at least one of the top hundred ZK Sync NFT collections between February 16 and July 12 are eligible for this wave of the airdrop.
ZK Sync, a zero-knowledge rollup for scaling Ethereum, hinted at an airdrop. The company recently posted an announcement on X (former Twitter) regarding an experimental NFT project dubbed “Libertas Omnibus.”
The initiative aims to explore new NFT standards, network superpowers, and new protocol features. ZK Sync also plans to release prototype collections with surprise creators as part of the initiative. Notably, it will reveal the artwork after the mint.
According to the company, its mission is to advance personal freedom for everyone. The upcoming collection’s name, “Libertas Omnibus,” translates from Latin as “freedom to all.” It will reportedly allow a broader NFT community to join the ZK Revolution in a fun way.
On its X page, the company shared that it will launch the open mint for the remainder of the 179,365 early zkSync NFT community members.
“Thank you to the community for your patience, support, and good vibes as we continue on this experimental journey together,” wrote ZK Sync in an X post.
So, users who interacted with at least one of the top hundred ZK Sync non-fungible token collections between the mainnet launch on February 16, and July 12 will be eligible for this wave of the airdrop.
Individuals can check their eligibility for the mint on its dedicated page. Once individuals confirm their eligibility and complete the necessary steps, they can mint the NFTs.
The company has implemented a first-in, first-out queuing mechanism for the ongoing mint. This system will address potential congestion if numerous users attempt to mint simultaneously. However, users need not rush, as the minting process will remain active for several weeks.
According to the announcement, ZK Sync will further provide more individuals with the possibility to “join the journey.” So, users who are not eligible but wish to become part of the community will have such an opportunity in the future.
