Multi-brand digital fashion platform DressX partners with French electronic music pioneer DJ, producer, and Sapiens record label owner, Agoria. Together, DressX and Agoria have launched an NFT collection featuring biological generative art wearables. The non-fungible tokens, generated with the help of artificial intelligence, are animated in sync with Agoria’s latest music track.
Dubbed “{Coutures},” the collection features 100 digital shirts, which go for 0.055 ETH each (approximately $103 at the moment of writing). Notably, “Agorians” – community members of the DJ’s web3 project, will also receive mint caps for free.
Thanks to the technology powered by DressX, all digital items will come with an augmented reality wearable utility, meaning that holders can wear the garment in real time using the DressX mobile application. More than that, NFT owners will receive custom music files of Agoria’s new soundtrack.
In a statement, the producer mentioned that the tokens do not only represent a new sound, wearable, and film but “everything.” So, NFT holders might expect Agoria to release additional utilities in the nearest future.
“DressX is incredibly excited to partner with Agoria, taking the artist’s incredible work in the Web3 space to the next level. We believe in the power of community, and hope that both Agorians and DressX digital fashion pioneers will enjoy merging their two passions of music in fashion into one – wearing DressX Agoria NFTs on their social media and in the metaverse,” said DressX founders Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova.
This is not the first time DressX helps celebrities and brands merge the real world with the metaverse by creating collaborative augmented reality fashion garments. In December 2022, the digital fashion platform partnered with Bershka to release an eight-piece AR fashion collection. DressX has also previously collaborated with PacSun for free AR virtual jeans and with American Eagle Outfitters for augmented reality sustainability-themed digital jeans.
