Binance partners with The Weeknd for the After Hours Til Dawn tour
The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced its partnership with singer The Weeknd. Binance became the official sponsor of The Weeknd’s “After Hours Till Dawn” worldwide tour. It will become the first-ever music event to integrate Web3 technology.
Binance will partner with HXOUSE, an incubator for creative entrepreneurs, to enhance fan experience. The companies will release a special NFT collection for the tour, as well as create co-branded tour merchandise.
Virtual concert tickets will give holders access to commemorative NFTs. Another part of the NFT collection will be available for purchase to everyone, not just the concert listeners.
Binance will donate $2 million and 5% of the proceeds from NFT sales to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which is administered by World Food Program USA. The fund was launched by The Weeknd to support people in hunger hotspots all over the world.
Canada and America tour begins on July 8, 2022. More information on the NFT collection and co-branded merchandise is coming soon.
