The funding will accelerate Insider’s M&A-focused strategy, allowing them to enhance their product offerings and meet the evolving needs of marketing teams.
Insider, an AI-powered marketing platform, has secured $105 million in funding, Bloomberg reported. Founded in Istanbul by a team of six Turkish entrepreneurs in 2012, Insider has attracted substantial support from the esteemed Qatar Investment Authority and Istanbul-based buyout firm Esas Private Equity.
So far, Insider has raised $274 million. One of the significant milestones occurred in March 2022 when the company secured a staggering $121 million in a Series D round. The substantial investment came from seven investors, valuing Insider at an impressive $1.22 billion. Now, the company is surging toward a valuation of $2 billion.
“We are looking to achieve unparalleled levels of growth with an M&A-focused strategy. These funds will be used exclusively for the purpose of acquiring exceptional product companies,”
said Hande Cilingir, the co-founder and CEO of Insider.
Earlier this year, Insider acquired MindBehind, a conversational commerce and messaging platform verified by Meta, to enhance its conversational solutions. The acquisition propelled Insider to explore more opportunities for mergers and acquisitions, aiming to further improve its products and meet the evolving needs of marketing teams.
The company is revolutionizing the marketing landscape by offering a streamlined platform that connects data, employs AI technology, and empowers marketers to create personalized customer journeys with exceptional speed and efficiency. Insider’s innovative blend of data, AI, and user-centric design empowers brands to create captivating experiences that leave a lasting impact, propelling marketing strategies to new heights of success.
Trusted by over 1,200 brands worldwide, Insider has established itself as a leader in the industry, securing the top position in multiple categories in G2’s Best Software Awards 2023. With an outstanding user satisfaction score of 98/100 in six key categories, including Customer Data Platforms and Mobile Marketing, the company aims to further drive the future of marketing.
