Cryptocurrency hardware wallet company Ledger reveals an NFT collection and a dedicated exhibition during Art Basel Miami. The company recognizes its importance within the NFT space and aims to influence and build the future of digital art.
To start, the organization launched the inaugural exhibition of its “The Ledger NFT Art Collection,” curated by Ledger’s Chief of Staff Jean-Michel Pailhon, Chief Experience Officer Ian Rogers, and other company staff.
The Ledger NFT Art Collection includes mixed media artworks by several noted artists. Among these are noted NFT artist Fvckrender, photographer Justin Aversano, Jenni Pasanen, artist and photographer Rueben Wu, OSF, Erick “Snowfro,” Jen Stark, 3D artist Carlos Marcial, Refik Anadol, and crypto artist Alotta Money.
In addition, the collection features several non-fungible tokens owned by Ledger: a CryptoPunk #2272, a Chromie Squiggle #2786, and a Chromie Squiggle #9653. Notably, the company has focused on pieces that manifest cultural significance and represent social, scientific, and historical values.
Ledger will also launch a non-profit fund to support creators and increase their global presence. As a part of the project, the company will provide young artists, women, and underrepresented communities with mentorships, logistics, and financial help.
“We are proud to introduce our corporate NFT art collection that we have been building this year, alongside different initiatives to support NFT artists,”
states the Ledger team in the announcement.
In July this year, Ledger launched its NFT marketplace. Following, the company partnered with BRICK to release an exclusive NFT collection that gives holders unlimited free-of-charge access to a creative hub based in Los Angeles and the metaverse.
