Prada Crypted is set to drop a holiday-themed TimeCapsule NFT collection
The drop will feature 50 exclusive sweaters, available for 24 hours starting from December 1, 3 PM CET
Italian luxury fashion brand Prada announces the upcoming drop of its seventh Timecapsule NFT collection.
The release makes part of the brand’s Prada Crypted initiative, which aims to attract a new wave of customers and fans. First launched in December 2019, it is a monthly event that permits customers to purchase limited-edition items, available for 24 hours only. In 2022, the brand started issuing NFTs to back the exclusive clothing and enhance the customer experience.
The new Timecapsule NFT collection is due on December 1 at 3 PM CET. This month, the 50 NFT artworks will back gender-neutral holiday-themed sweaters. The items will feature red and white colors with black stripes visible on the bottom and the cuffs. The festive sweaters are made from high-quality Merino wool in a special Norwegian jacquard knitting technique. To make it even more exclusive and festive, Prada placed its embroidered logo and a “December” lettering on the sweater.
Additionally to the limited-edition clothing garment, the NFTs will grant holders access to community benefits. Timecapsule owners will have the opportunity to receive invitations to global experiences like Prada Mode, the brand’s traveling social club, and Prada Extends, a music- and art-themed series of events.
Holders of the previous Prada Crypted NFT drops have already participated in exclusive experiences gifted by the brand. In September this year, a Discord user named Basha flew from Dubai to Milan to attend Prada’s SS23 Womenswear fashion show, receive a private tour of the collection, and enjoy a three-Michelin-star dinner.
