In Brief
Blue-chip NFT project Azuki partners with Chinese video platform Bilibili International and web3 content platform CryptoNatty to drop anime-inspired badges for NFT holders
Cheers UP and BEANZ also designed an emoji sticker pack for Azuki, Cheers UP, and BEANZ communities.
Blue-chip NFT project Azuki partners with Chinese video platform Bilibili International and web3 content platform CryptoNatty. The collaboration aims to explore web3 innovations in media content and, more specifically, in anime.
Starting today, Azuki, BEANZ, and Cheers UP NFT holders will receive “Bilibili cheers!” badges issued by the companies. On a side note, “Cheers UP” is an NFT collection developed by CryptoNatty, which powers the project.
Azuki owners can find the badge NFTs on their Azuki Collector’s Profiles. In the nearest future, community participants will also receive unique certified diamond labels. The latter will allow them to verify their NFT profile pictures on the Bilibili International application.
More than that, Cheers UP and BEANZ teamed up to design an emoji sticker pack for NFT holders. Individuals can use these stickers on Discord and the Bilibili app.
According to the official website of the joint project, Bilibili aims to improve the daily lives of China’s teenagers. Over 86% of Bilibili users are under the age of 35. In Q3 2022, the number of average monthly active users reached 330 million, so the partnership will surely boost Azuki’s brand image among China-based youngsters.
Created by Los Angeles-based Chiru Labs, Azuki has introduced several exciting initiatives in 2022. In October, the company announced its Physical Backed Token technology. It is an open-source standard that ties physical items to digital tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. The feature can be thought of as a “scan-to-own” authentication of physical products. In November, Azuki partnered with streetwear brand Ambush to drop the Physical Backed Token-enabled clothing collection.
The current floor price of the Azuki NFT collection is 15.78 ETH (approximately $24,900 at the time of writing), with 274,043 ETH of volume traded since January 2022.
