Anna Sorokin plans to launch an exclusive NFT collection
Well-known scammer Anna Sorokin created an NFT collection, “Reinventing Anna.” This way, the woman who inspired a Netflix series aims to move away from her “scammer persona.”
Anna launched a collection of 2,000 “membership passes,” which will grant holders “exclusive access” to her. This includes one-on-one phone calls and exclusive live streams. The collection also features three ultra platinum NFTs, which will give fans access to Anna’s items and the opportunity to meet her in person.
“This is, like totally, has been pushed upon me by the prosecution and by the following media and by the Netflix show, but I’m trying to move away from that definitely,” said Anna.
Anna Sorokin is also known as Anna Delvey. According to the Netflix series “Inventing Anna,” she is a serial delinquent who pretended to be a German heiress. This way, Anna managed to steal from individuals and companies for years. She convinced people to invest in the development of her elite social club, and not only. As a result, Sorokin was convicted to 4-12 years of prison. She has spent almost four years behind the bars and is now in the Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.
“I see this first drop as an opportunity to directly connect with my audience and to take charge of the narrative that’s been largely outside of my control, until now.
I’m very excited to join the NFT community and contribute to the change in the way artists/creators interact with their fan base. It feels great to be a part of something new and innovative – a large part of my own story is about breaking the rules and questioning status quo. In this new chapter of my journey I’m hoping to use my voice for a positive (and legal) cause,” says Anna’s website.
