Bing might be testing a new interface that would integrate the ChatGPT service into its search engine, which would be a first for any major search engine. The new interface was allegedly spotted by a Twitter user, who shared screenshots of it. The new interface looks very similar to how ChatGPT functions.
The Verge contacted the user but was unable to verify the authenticity of the screenshots. Microsoft has also declined to comment on the matter. However, two other Twitter accounts have also shared similar images, lending credence to the claim.
As of now, there is no information on when this new interface might be released, or if it will be released at all. However, if released, it would be a major change for Bing and could potentially revolutionize how people search for information on the internet.
- The ChatGPT’s MAU reached 100 million just two months after its launch. This is the first-ever achievement in the history of user applications. In comparison, TikTok took nine months and Instagram two and a half years to reach the same milestone.
- There have been numerous reports that Microsoft will incorporate ChatGPT into their search this year. This could be a major leap forward for the company, allowing users to ask natural language questions to retrieve information from the search engine.
- Microsoft and OpenAI hope that by combining ChatGPT with Bing, they can provide an alternative to Google’s search engine and give users a more accurate and personalized search experience.
