Cinemark releases ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ NFTs
American movie theater chain Cinemark announced the release of Thor: Love and Thunder NFTs to celebrate the film’s July 8 premiere.
Cinemark Holdings, Inc. partnered with Disney and Marvel Studios to develop the collection. App-based digital collectibles marketplace VeVe will power the release.
Fans will have an opportunity to win one of the Thor: Love and Thunder 1,000 NFTs, and through July 7, members of Cinemark Movie Rewards can play an instant-win game on the company’s website or app. Winners will receive a code that will redirect them to the VeVe website and issue the digital collectible tokens.
Users must be 18 or older and live in the U.S. to participate.
Cinemark Chief Marketing and Content Officer Wanda Gierhart Fearing said, “Cinemark is thrilled to collaborate with Disney on the release of these exclusive Marvel Studios NFTs for Thor: Love and Thunder. Thor’s newest quest is sure to be an epic foray filled with adventure, strength, and heart, and it is fitting that our rewards members – cinema’s biggest and most loyal fans – will have the chance to win these unique digital collectibles to celebrate this exciting moment and epic film.”
