Prada Announces its Twelfth Timecapsule NFT Collection
In Brief
Prada is set to release its twelfth Timecapsule NFT collection on May 4.
One lucky holder will have the possibility to attend the ninth iteration of Prada Mode in Tokyo.
Italian luxury fashion brand Prada announces the upcoming drop of its 12th Timecapsule NFT collection.
Timecapsule makes part of the Prada Crypted initiative, launched by the brand in December 2019. In May 2022, the company started releasing limited-edition physical items backed by non-fungible tokens each month. So, the upcoming drop celebrates the first anniversary of Prada’s web3 initiative.
The collection features a yellow and blue tank top made of striped technical fabric. The item has striped monochrome knit borders and Prada’s triangles logo. Then, on the back, the top says “May” – the month of the drop. The brand utilizes its archived materials, combining heritage and innovation.
The 12th Timecapsule collection goes live on May 4 and will only be available for 24 hours. Like in the previous drops, there are only 50 items in this release. The minting will happen in a first-come, first-serve mode, so Prada’s fans wishing to get the limited-edition item must act fast. Every physical piece comes with a corresponding non-fungible token, which serves as a pass to the Prada Crypted Discord community.
Notably, in May, the brand will allow one randomly selected NFT holder to attend the ninth iteration of Prada Mode. The occasion will take place in Tokyo on May 12 and 13. As part of the event, the Tokyo Metropolitan Teen Art Museum will be transformed into a space that permits guests to explore art and historic architecture in different forms. The exhibition is curated by Prada’s long-term collaborator, Kazuyo Sejima.
To participate in the raffle, individuals must hold a Prada Timecapsule NFT in their crypto wallets, make part of the Prada Crypted Discord, and be verified holders with the green tick on the brand’s Discord.
