Blue-chip NFT project Moonbirds introduces its PROOF+Moonbirds Community Council.
A few weeks ago, the project shared its plans to create more collaboration opportunities within the community. On April 25, the organization announced the launch of its Community Council. The company aims to allow holders to communicate openly with the Moonbirds’ team. So, the company brings the initiative beyond Twitter and Discord, enabling individuals to express their ideas and requests more directly.
Community members have nominated ten Moonbirds NFT holders that will represent their needs. Among the selected members are multidisciplinary artist Marlo Johnson; EBMD Crypto; dGen Network’s Head of Sales Kyle Riggins; artist Color Block; venture investor Axu.eth; marketer Lakoz.eth; marketing and event planner Cropcircle; project founder Drew Barman; Spotify’s development manager James Hall; and pediatric dentist Philip Yoong.
The community council will have bi-weekly meetings with the PROFF Collective leadership. During the appointments, the representatives will share ideas, give feedback, and keep an open line of communication between PROOF and NFT holders.
In addition to the Community Council, Moonbirds has announced the upcoming Proof of Community event, which will take place in Los Angeles on May 11 and 12. NFT holders can claim their tickets on a dedicated website.
Moonbirds is a collection of 10,000 non-fungible tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. It was released by Kevin Rose and Justin Mezzell’s PROOF Collective in April 2022. Thanks to a great marketing strategy and celebrity partnerships, the project gained significant attention straightaway.
However, this year is uneasy for the Moonbirds community and its founders. In February, PROOF Collective canceled its PROOF of Conference event in Los Angeles due to the community’s disinterest. The announcement brought the floor price of Moonbirds from 7.1 ETH down to 6.5 ETH. The current floor price of the collection is 2.82 ETH (approximately $5,321 at the time of writing).
