Award-winning musician Pharrell Williams has announced the upcoming airdrop of the “Pharrell Pack.” Aimed at Doodles holders, it will include limited-edition fashion items by several IRL brands: Adidas, Human Made, Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club, and Ice Cream.
The drop celebrates the launch of Doodles’ new “Character Builder” tool. Available in the Doodles 2 “Stoodio” application, it enables NFT holders to choose clothing and traits for their avatars.
So, to launch the initiative and attract the community’s attention, the project will airdrop 300 Pharrell Packs to randomly chosen Doodles holders. Individuals can enter the lottery by completing several steps by May 4. To be eligible, they must complete The Stoodio profile setup and burn a beta pass to create a Doodle. Then, holders must “dooplicate” the token using “Dooplicator” at least once. Lastly, individuals need to open at least one Genesis Box, which includes an edition of wearables for Doodles 2.
The “Pharrell Pack” will include tokens that can be redeemed for physical items provided by well-known fashion brands.
Doodles is a collection of 10,000 non-fungible tokens designed by Burnt Toast. Launched in October 2021, the project gained significant attention and reached 279,703 ETH of total sales volume to date. The current floor price of the original Doodles collection is 2.805 ETH (approximately $5,145 at the time of writing).
Notably, the project is trying to expand from an “NFT collection” to a globally known media franchise. Pharrell Williams, who became Doodles’s Chief Brand Office in June 2022, is helping the brand achieve its goal by launching fashion and music collaborations with traditional companies. Last week, Doodles partnered with the artist’s clothing brand Billionaire Boys Club Ice Cream to create a collection of physical items.
