Microsoft is integrating generative artificial intelligence technology into its Microsoft 365 business software package, which includes the well-known ChatGPT chat program. The new AI capabilities, known as Copilot, will be accessible in some of the industry’s most well-liked business applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, according to the massive corporate technology corporation.

Large language models, or LLMs, are a class of artificial intelligence software that form the foundation of the Copilot technology. In the past few years, researchers have enhanced LLMs’ comprehension and response to text skills. In a release, Microsoft claimed that the Copilot features were more advanced than just “OpenAI’s ChatGPT embedded into Microsoft 365.” People will have access to a “first draft to edit and iterate on — saving hours in writing, sourcing, and editing time,” according to the business, thanks to the new Copilot in Word function.
