Over-Employed People Are Using ChatGPT for Multiple Jobs to Earn a Six-Figure Salary

In Brief

ChatGPT is becoming an invaluable tool for over-employed people, allowing them to automate conversation, code, image and text composition, transcribe Zoom meetings, respond to Slack messages, write memos, and lay out instructions for engineers.

The modern economy has created a new kind of worker – the “over-employed,” those who juggle multiple jobs to make ends meet. As technology has become ever-more entrenched in our lives, so too has it become increasingly prevalent in the workplace. One example of this is the widespread adoption of ChatGPT, which is a human-computer interaction (HCI) tool that is used to automate conversation, code, image, and text composition. It is rapidly becoming an invaluable tool for many over-employed people, who use it for tasks ranging from coding to creating memos.

Over-employed people using ChatGPT for multiple jobs to earn a 6-figure salary

The Vice profile of an “over-employed” person using ChatGPT for multiple jobs revealed someone earning a stunning $500k a year from two gigs; they are attempting to add a third to get that figure up to $800k. This individual has completely embraced ChatGPT for the accomplishment of various objectives. Another person has begun to use the tool to transcribe Zoom meetings, so he knows what’s being said without being overly attentive. In some cases, they don’t need to pay attention at all since everything can be checked in the transcription when needed. They have also found it useful for responding to Slack messages when busy. They asked the AI to craft messages in all lowercase so that they seem more “organic” and more human.

In addition to these clever uses of ChatGPT, another person employed at a FAANG company also used ChatGPT for writing, for instance, to draft a memo to explain and defend a business decision. By inputting the relevant facts and parameters into an Al chatbot, a much more cohesive and consistent-looking memo could be created in less time than it would take for a person to do it. Finally, this individual used the AI-driven chatbot to lay out specific instructions for engineers, calling on the service to expand a given sentence into a full paragraph quickly and accurately.

It is clear that ChatGPT is becoming an invaluable asset for the “over-employed,” who need to make sure that every minute of the day is spent as efficiently as possible. By relying on Al for some routine tasks, over-employed people can free up time and energy to focus on more meaningful, lucrative work.
