Opera has announced the release of its new AI-powered browser, Opera One.
According to the official announcement, the new browser features a modular design, which makes room for integrated artificial intelligence tools and new features. Opera One groups all AI extensions in a collapsable module in the address bar. The feature simplifies the interface while retaining quick access to all the installed plugins, including integrated AI tools: AI Prompts, ChatGPT, and ChatSonic.
The redesigned user-friendly browser also includes other tools that allow individuals to browse smoothly while staying focused. For instance, when opening too many tabs modules, the browser automatically declutters the interface.
At the moment, Opera One provides early access to the developer version. Individuals can download the browser on a dedicated page of the official website. Later this year, Opera One will reportedly replace the flagship Opera Browser for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Opera first announced its plans to integrate ChatGPT in February this year. Back then, OpenAI’s tech was supposed to generate short summaries of any webpage or article.
The organization is not new to web3 either – in February, Opera partnered with Unstoppable Domains to add new web3 domain name endings to the browser. To celebrate the launch, the companies offered free “.nft” domains to Opera users.
