Williams Racing joins the Metaverse with Terra Virtua
Terra Virtua will join Williams Racing as their Metaverse partner.
Terra is a Metaverse platform. They have been building tools since 2018, including mobile apps, AR, and VR. Moreover, Terra’s team manages a curated NFT marketplace and global networks. The company also has its token, Terra Virtua Kollect ($TVK). It allows the users to earn rewards, farm NFTs, and create fan tokens. The platform runs on the Polygon blockchain.
Williams Racing is a British racing team formed in 1977, originally named Williams Grand Prix Engineering Limited. The team is currently racing in Formula 1.
At the moment, more than 30 drivers make part of the Williams Racing esports team.
Terra Virtua is aimed at making the racing fans’ experience spicier. The collaboration will include generative art collections and digital collectibles.
Starting from the Miami Grand Prix event, the multi-year partnership between Terra Virtua and Williams Racing kicks off. Along with the Metaverse experiences, the collaboration lists Terra branding on the cars, drivers’ race suits, and mechanic overalls. The fans can expect interactive experiences within virtual environments.
