Dynatrace, a unified observability and security firm, has announced the expansion of Davis AI with Davis CoPilot, allowing users to create queries, data dashboards, and data notebooks using natural language.
Davis Copilot generates coding suggestions tailored to the unique attributes of each customer’s hybrid and multicloud ecosystem. This innovative solution streamlines and expedites the onboarding, configuration, and adoption of the Dynatrace platform.
With the addition of generative AI capabilities of the copilot, Dynatrace has become the first Hypermodel AI platform in the industry. Hypermodal AI combines predictive AI, causal AI, and generative AI techniques to boost productivity across operations, security, development, and business teams.
Dynatrace applies these techniques to a wide set of modalities including the data types of metrics, traces, logs, behavior, topology, dependencies, events, and more, providing precise predictions, accurate determinations, and meaningful insights.
Dynatrace Davis AI provides the following capabilities:
- Davis predictive-AI models and dynamic machine learning anticipate future behavior based on past data and observed patterns.
- Davis causal AI leverages real-time and context-rich observability, security, and business data to deliver precise answers and intelligent automation, which is important for preventing issues, conducting deterministic root-cause analysis, and automating risk remediation seamlessly.
- Davis CoPilot™ generative AI works with Dynatrace predictive and causal AI to automatically provide recommendations, create suggested workflows and dashboards, or let people use natural language to explore, solve, and complete tasks.
“Generative AI is a transformative technology with seemingly limitless possibilities for delivering productivity gains,” said Bernd Greifeneder, CTO at Dynatrace.
“As organizations look to tap into this potential, the key to success is hypermodal AI that combines generative AI with powerful predictive- and causal-AI techniques. This is because only predictive AI can see into the future reliably, only causal AI can deterministically know the root cause of an issue, and only generative AI can tailor recommendations and solutions to specific problems using advanced probabilistic algorithms.”
The Davis predictive and causal AI are currently accessible to all customers. The integration of Davis CoPilot is scheduled for later in 2023, where it will become a core technology within the Dynatrace platform, available to all customers.
