MPost Markets: Cryptocurrency prices rise
Cryptocurrencies are experiencing a slight increase in value.
Bitcoin price has risen again over the weekend and is now trading at $31,408.19, a 6.10% increase since yesterday. The coin’s price seems to be oscillating between $29K and $32K, but it hasn’t yet surpassed the $32K mark.
“BTC remains weak until it conclusively breaches the $31k to $32k range,” Joe DiPasquale, the CEO of crypto fund manager BitBull, told CoinDesk. “However, we continue to see some buying below $30K that is keeping the price afloat.”
Ethereum’s ether is also in the green. The 7.08% rise it has experienced means the coin is now $1,905.01. Binance’s BNB’s price is up by 4.37%, Cardano’s ADA by 12.96%, XRP’s by 3.43%, and Solana’s by 11.58%. The prices of eCash XEC, Helium HNT, and Theta Network THETA have surged the most, up by 18.06%, 17.16%, and 14.17%, respectively.
Similarly, metaverse cryptos are doing well. Flow price is up by 4.99%, Decentraland’s MANA by 8.33%, Tezos XTZ by 11.73%, and ApeCoin APE by 4.52%. Alethea Artificial Liquid Intelligence Token ALI jas undoubtedly experienced the most significant price jump out of all coins used in the metaverse, with the price up by 17.31%.
Seeing as nearly all coins are in the green, it’s no surprise the Metaverse Index price is also on the rise. With a price uptick of 9.24%, it is now trading at $54.48.
While it’s exciting to see all cryptos performing well, it’s too early to make any favorable prognosis. The cryptocurrency market remains volatile, and it’s likely going to be a while before we see a long-term upsurge in prices.
