Jack Butcher’s “Checks” Sell For 50.10 ETH on Christie’s 3.0

All the 152 artworks were sold, resulting in 50.10 ETH in sales.
Christie’s 3.0 has successfully concluded the auction of Checks Elements, a collection of digital artworks created by Jack Butcher, Jean Milant, and Cirrus Editions. The auction featured three digital artworks that represent Earth, Air, and Water. Dubbed “Alpha,” the pieces explore the idea of social media verification.
The collection included a total of 152 pieces, which were all sold during the auction. Overall, Butcher and Christie’s 3.0 raised 50.10 ETH, approximately $91,031 at the moment of writing. The highest-selling piece was “Air,” which sold for 19.88 ETH. Next, “Water” was sold for 17.25 ETH, and “Earth” for 12.97 ETH. The auction for Jack Butcher’s “Checks Elements” started on May 20 and ended on May 23.

Christie’s 3.0 is an NFT auction platform launched by the traditional auction house Christie’s in September 2022. The house, founded in 1766, is a leader in the art and luxury industries with a presence in 46 countries. Before launching its web3 platform, Christie’s conducted several non-fungible token auctions, including the University of Pennsylvania’s first-ever NFT.
