The Dark Horse FlappyMoonbird Launches New Game and Announces the Release of Genesis NFT and Token Airdrop

FlappyMoonbird, a causal game themed around birds, launched in Q4 last year and received a wave of positive reviews due to its light and easy-to-use interface.

The game has already accumulated 156,000 registered users with a daily active user count of 5.3K. The number of new users ranks it in the top three on the BNBChain list, and the game itself was listed on BNBChain’s top ten recommended blockchain games for March. Gameplay Mechanics

Currently, FlappyMoonbird has announced three games. The first game, FlappyMoonbird, involves maneuvering past obstacles to earn rewards. The second game, Racing Bird, recently launched a competitive mode with blockchain and gaming elements, in which the last player standing wins rewards. The third game, AI Birdnopoly, is an upcoming metaverse project developed in collaboration with UGC platform Createra, a company backed by A16Z investments.

FlappyMoonbird

FlappyMoonbird, also known as Jumping Bird, offers pretty straightforward gameplay. The goal of the game is simply: The player needs to fly a FlappyMoonbird past wood logs without hitting anything.

Twenty levels into the game, players will earn a rainbow egg. Then, reaching 35 levels will earn you another rainbow egg as well as a silver egg and 66 levels—a rainbow egg, a silver egg, and a golden egg. Players can claim a maximum of three eggs per play and a maximum of 30 eggs per day. The rainbow egg can produce fragments, whereas the silver egg can produce fragments or $FMB. The golden egg, on the other hand, can produce fragments, $FMB, or a treasure box. Skilled players can also participate in leaderboard competitions.

Racing Bird

Racing Bird has three modes: SOLO entertainment mode, fully on-chain Arena mode, and RaceTrack mode (that’s a mix of strategy and probability). Players can match with others globally, and the last player standing will earn rewards such as $FMB, treasure box NFT (BNBChain), and common bird NFT (BNBChain).

SOLO Entertainment Mode

Players can choose one bird from the five available to participate in the competition. Five players are randomly assigned to begin the game. “Attacks” can be used to hinder opponents during the game, and the system also introduces random events to interfere. The top three players can each receive a golden egg, a silver egg, and a rainbow egg.

Players can enter the game with $FMB, and can play up to 10 rounds per day. The first three rounds cost 3 $FMB each, and the subsequent rounds cost 10 $FMB per round. Users who hold the Genesis Bird can use the AI-supported automatic betting function and receive daily reports on match results and improvement feedback.

Fully On-chain Arena Mode

In this fully on-chain version, players bet on the top birds out of the six available. The result of the competition will be fully dependent on the hash value of the blockchain data. Players who guess the correct result will receive $FMB. Each round lasts three minutes, and the maximum betting limit is 1,000 $FMB.

Racetrack Mode

Building on the fully on-chain Arena version, random events, and attribute effects are added. Random events include lightning strikes and gunfire. The bird has three attributes, which are speed, stability and luck. Both attributes and random events affect the game’s outcome. Similarly, players who guess the result correctly will receive $FMB as a reward.

AI Birdnopoly

AI Birdnopoly is a game within the Monopoly Metaverse that allows players to manage real estate, businesses, and social interactions, all while using personalized AI technology. The gameplay draws inspiration from Westworld and focuses on raising and utilizing AI Birds. However, participation in the AI Bird gameplay requires ownership of the Genesis Bird NFT.

Within the FlappyMoonbird metaverse, players can engage in ChatGPT-style conversations with any NPC on various topics. The AI technology analyzes player behavior and preferences to generate intelligent birds with unique personalities. These birds will explore and showcase players’ potential personality traits and habits for personal growth and development.

The game utilizes AI algorithms to collect and analyze player interaction data, creating personalized intelligent AI birds with unique identities for each player. These birds can provide companionship or act as spiritual mentors, even for those with social anxiety. Through the virtualization of tags in the metaverse, players can find their soulmates and create their own super assistants bound to NFTs.

Players train their gaming assistants and dispatch AI birds to play or invest in Monopoly according to personal preferences, earning profits. The AI birds generate daily reports on investment strategies and progress standards, promoting a better gaming experience and higher returns. With advances in AI technology integrating into workspaces and smart homes, these AI Birds will become trusted life managers that integrate with home devices.

The functions of the AI Bird assistant are expected to expand user groups beyond the empty promises of a metaverse by providing fun experiences while offering limitless creativity within metaverse scenes. Artificial intelligence has already been used successfully to cure depression or act as an investment assistant; web3 asset attributes combined with limitless creativity offer the potential for more applications for virtual humans.

Game Economics

The economic system in the game revolves around three core assets:

1. Items that are not on the blockchain and can only be used in the game and obtained through playing the game;
2. NFTs, which consist of, Flappy Nest, Genesis Bird, Common Bird, Treasure Box, and Key;
3. The unique token $FMB, which is currently in the form of a centralized point system, can be acquired through playing the game and will be transferred on chain shortly.

NFT

1. Sales status: Flappy Nest was launched at the end of last year (the current floor price is still seven times the launch price). Genesis Bird, Treasure Box and Key will be released this coming April. The specific date has not yet been determined. Keys will be only obtained through completing tasks. Common Bird is estimated to launch in May.

2. Equity status: Each NFT can produce $FMB, which means that participation is all that it takes to receive rewards in tokens.
