NFT project Deadfellaz announces partnership with Wrangler Jeans
American heritage denim brand Wrangler Jeans partners with NFT project Deadfellaz.
The companies are combining Web2 and Web3 by introducing a creative collaboration of a traditional brand and a digital artwork project. The announcement was made on September 8 on the official Twitter profile of Deadfellaz, accompanied by a poster created by the Lead Concept Designer of Deadfellaz, Leon Lee.
“We’re looking forward to building a lasting partnership, and we’re excited to be bringing you all along with us. Stay tuned for more information,” states the announcement.
To launch the initiative, Deadfellaz introduces a competition that gives fans an opportunity to win digital and physical prizes. Players will work in groups and create “choose-your-own-adventure” artworks and styles.
It’s worth noting that the partnership is not Wrangler’s first step in Web3. In February this year, the brand issued an NFT collection dubbed “Mr. Wrangler.” Developed in partnership with an NFT marketplace LTD.INC and German music group Leon Bridges, the NFTs served as digital wearables for Decentraland’s Metaverse.
Deadfellaz is an NFT collection of 10,000 profile picture-styled artworks with different traits. Created by Betty, also known as Horde Mother, and artist Psych, the project has gained collectors’ and brands’ attention.
The current floor price of the collection is 0.65 ETH (approximately $1,105 at the moment of writing). 30.0K ETH of volume was traded.
