NFTStar and Neymar Jr. launch NFT collection for Beastmode Metaverse

NFT platform NFTStar and football player Neymar Jr. release their second collection “Beastmode Metaverse x Neymar Jr. Human NFT.”
The mint, divided into three stages, started today at 2 pm UTC and ends on November 12 at 3 pm UTC.
NFT platform NFTStar in collaboration with Brazilian football player Neymar Jr. is dropping an NFT collection called “Beastmode x Neymar Jr Human NFT.”
Neymar Jr. continues to capture fans around the world. The football star’s and NFTStar’s previous collaboration, the NFT drop called “JungleVibes,” was a huge success, reaching over 60,000 free mints worldwide.
NFTStar officially announced its partnership with Neymar through a license agreement on November 2021. All their digital collections are on the Ethereum blockchain.
The mint started today, November 11, at 2 pm UTC and divides into three different drops. The “BeastList” is the first drop, followed by the “JungleList,” and the “VIBEList” drops on November 12 at 3 pm UTC. Each NFT costs 0.25 ETH.
After the drop, Neymar will host an NFT launch live stream on his official Facebook page, where he will provide details on the NFT project and announce the winners of the Beastmode Football Festival held last month. Lastly, Neymar will reveal the upcoming drop of the collection – Episode 02.
NFTStar is backed by The9 Limited, a high-tech company that focuses on blockchain technology, specifically operational cryptocurrency mining
Neymar is a known advocate of the Web3 space. In January, the football star purchased two Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs for a total of $1.1 million.
As the FIFA World Cup approaches, we are seeing many football-themed NFT and metaverse projects. In September, FIFA launched an NFT platform for football NFTs called FIFA+ Collect. Today, Animoca Brands and Cool Cats announced a “Cool Cats FC” NFT collection dedicated to World Cup 2022.
In June, Neymar’s current football club, PSG, partnered with Mandopop superstar Jay Chou to create a metaverse art project. Chou posted a promotional video where Neymar and PSG teammate Lionel Messi also appear.
