Farandole introduces the first NFT wine and spirits marketplace
Farandole is a new global NFT marketplace focused on sophisticated wines and spirits.
The platform’s main goal is to modernize the industry. Farandole will work on the logistics solutions that could bring the customers a faster and cheaper service.
The platform offers easy ownership tracking. Once a customer buys a bottle, they get a digital asset that holds proof of ownership. The system ensures the authenticity of each asset. The customers can access all the information when buying or selling wine and spirits.
Whenever an NFT is sold or bought, the physical item remains in a storage warehouse, maintaining the quality of the beverages. The bottles are extracted from the storage only when the customer decides so.
Thanks to blockchain technology, the company cuts down on administrative and legal red tape.
To start, the spirits and wines available on the platform are Burgundy Grand Cru, Bordeaux Grand, Cru Classe, Single Malt Whisky, Irish Whiskey, Supertuscan, and Super Premium Napa, Grand Reserve, Rioja, Prestige Cognac, and Champagne vintages.
The sellers can register their products on Farandole. All the metadata is collated from the seller by Farandole and is stored on the blockchain. More than that, the sellers can receive royalties as the NFTs are being traded.
Farandole will be launched on June 30th, 2022. The company is also planning to launch a Showroom in the Metaverse.
