Gary Vaynerchuk’s VeeFriends launches a physical apparel collection
In Brief
VeeFriends drop an IRL apparel collection of 24 items
The garment features designs from the NFT collection and inspiring phrases
The prices range from $44 for a t-shirt to $102 for a hoodie
VeeFreinds launches an IRL apparel collection. The drop features 24 pieces and includes t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, and long-sleeve tees. The items show NFT characters and cheerful phrases like “Grateful,” “Patient,” and “Competitive.”
The collection is already available on a dedicated website. Notably, the first 555 customers received limited-edition “Friends and Family” t-shirts from the brand. However, not all VeeFreinds holders and fans are happy with the drop. Many claim it to be too pricey: The t-shirts go for $44, while hoodies cost $102. The website offers only fiat currency payment options.
VeeFriends is a collection of 10,225 hand-drawn NFT artworks created by Gary Vaynerchuk’s Web3 company VaynerNFT. Like other PFP projects, the animal images are divided into rarity tiers.
The company has previously released other IRL collections. In October, VeeFriends partnered with department store Macy’s and well-known toy brand Toys” R” Us to release NFT-themed physical vinyl figures and plush collectibles.
VeeFreinds also recently dropped an exclusive “Forthright Flamingo” sunglasses design in collaboration with eyewear brand Vintage Frames. The release took place during Miami Art Basel in Pharrell’s The Goodtime Hotel.
The current floor price of VeeFriends is 5.19 ETH (approximately $6,612 at the time of writing). 58,965 ETH of volume was traded since May 2021.
