After successful New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks, designers continue introducing non-fungible token collections in London. British fashion designer Richard Quinn released a limited-edition NFT collection in partnership with the British Fashion Council and payment service Clearpay.

The NFT artworks take inspiration from the Spring/Summer 2023 collection, showcased during London Fashion Week in September.

The collection features two different types of NFTs. The first token, which goes for £50, grants holders access to an exclusive London Fashion Week party scheduled for October 12. During this event, Richard Quinn will unveil iconic pieces from the Spring/Summer 2023 show and will expose 23 looks created in tribute to the Queen.

The second NFT type, which also costs £50, gives owners the possibility to unlock a limited-edition accessory collection by Richard Quinn. The set includes a tote bag, a bucket hat, and a scrunchie.

In addition to these unique perks, the designer also hosts an open and free-to-attend exhibition. London-based fashion enthusiasts can visit it on October 13 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

“I’m thrilled to partner with Clearpay to put a unique Richard Quinn stamp on the London Fashion Week celebrations. From the creation of the beautiful rose NFT and bespoke merchandise, to our event in Covent Garden and the exhibition open to the public, this will be a true celebration of fashion, and will be a spectacular way to mark this season’s London Fashion Week,”

said Richard Quinn.

Notably, all profit from the primary NFT sales will go to the British Fashion Council Foundation, which gives out grants, mentors businesses, and promotes education.

NFTs are gaining popularity in the fashion industry. In fact, the tokens played an important role during the New York Fashion Week as they were used to unlock access to the event. Five NY-based designers released five NFT keys that, besides serving as keys to open the fashion show, also provided utilities, such as limited edition drops, designer collectibles, access to coveted experiences, runway seats, and after-party invites.
