Prada Crypted announces the drop of its fifth Timecapsule NFT collection
Italian luxury fashion brand Prada continues attracting Web3 natives with its exclusive Prada Timecapsule drops. The company announced the release of a new Timecapsule NFT collection, due on October 6.
Prada Crypted is the fashion house’s initiative that first went live in December 2019. Every first Thursday of the month, the brand drops limited-edition items, available for purchase for 24 hours. In 2022, Prada started issuing NFTs to back the garment and enhance the customer experience.
Each non-fungible token grants its holder access to gifted artwork and a gender-neutral physical product. The previous Timecapsule drops featured patchwork-styled shirts from Prada’s archive of recycled materials. Drop #34 will include a limited-edition bowling shirt created in tropical and vintage-pop styles.
It’s worth noting that the NFTs grant holders access to unique experiences and events held by the brand. In September, Timecapsule holders had a chance to win an invitation to Prada Spring Summer Show ’23, which took place during Milan Fashion Week. Dubai-based Discord member Basha won the first Prada experience. He attended the brand’s SS23 Womenswear show dubbed “A Touch of Crude,” received a private tour of the collection, and participated in a special Prada dinner at a three-Michelin-star restaurant.
On a side note – anonymous crypto influencer Gmoney, who has recently launched a Web3 fashion and lifestyle platform, also visited the show.
