Deadfellaz Announces Streamingfellaz, a Tool That Lets Holders Use NFTs as Twitch and Zoom Avatars
In Brief
NFT project Deadfellaz and Hologram Labs have launched “Streamingfellaz,” a tool that allows NFT holders to express themselves as their non-fungible tokens in video streaming.
Deadfellaz holders can now use their NFTs as avatars on Twitch, Google Meets, Zoom, and YouTube.
NFT project Deadfellaz has launched “Streamingfellaz” in partnership with the all-in-one platform for digital identities and virtual beings, Hologram Labs.
The new tool, which features motion tracking and emotion recognition, allows NFT holders to express themselves as their non-fungible tokens in video streaming. So, NFT owners can now use their Deadfellaz PFPs as avatars in virtual calls and live stream platforms, such as Twitch, Google Meets, Zoom, and even YouTube. The release is possible thanks to the extension of Deadfellaz’s intellectual property.
“Expression of digital identity lies at the heart of the Deadfellaz brand, and the launch of Streamingfellaz marks another significant step towards our mission of providing collectors with the resources and creative extensions they need to express themselves as their avatars in any setting,”
said the CEO and Co-Founder of DFZ Labs, Betty.
The guidelines on the tool’s use will reportedly be released in the upcoming weeks.
Deadfellaz’s integration of NFT avatars into live streams and video calls represents a significant leap forward. By allowing owners to visually embody their NFT characters, Deadfellaz is redefining the way people engage and interact in virtual spaces. The new tool enhances the value and utility of NFTs while exploring new ways of using immersive technologies within the NFT ecosystem. As technology continues to evolve, we can anticipate exciting opportunities and applications for NFTs in various interactive online environments.
Deadfellaz is a collection of 10,000 PFP-styled artworks on the Ethereum blockchain. The project went live in the August of 2021 and has gained significant attention since. The current floor price of the collection is 0.2799 ETH (approximately $508 at the moment of writing), with 33.771 ETH of total volume traded. After the new tool’s announcement, the collection’s number of sales increased from five on May 18 to 47 on May 20.
