DressX partners with Metaverse platform Zepeto for a digital fashion collection
Augmented reality fashion store DressX announces a partnership with Metaverse platform Zepeto. The digital fashion retailer will launch a collection of wearables in collaboration with Monica Quin – Zepeto’s virtual fashion influencer and content creator.
According to Monica’s Zepeto community profile, she shoots lookbooks, tutorials, Zepeto storylines, the Metaverse’s map tours, and other content. The virtual influencer has been active since 2018 and has already attracted more than 950.000 followers.
DressX x Zepeto digital-only fashion collection will include five looks in Monica’s signature color palette. The DressX garments will be available for Zepeto’s in-game Avatars. DressX users will also have a chance to try on several Augmented Reality pieces on the platform’s application.
“Created by the purely digital fashion company and curated by Zepeto-native top performing avatar influencer, this collection gives an insight into the future of fashion, where ideas are born and brought to life fully and authentically in the digital world. The new generation of users socialize and build their identities with no limits in the Metaverse, and DressX is honored to provide an ultimate metacloset for their lives in Web3,”
Said the founders of DressX, Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova.
The Zepeto collab is just the latest DressX’s many recent ventures. In July, DressX released “Metacloset,” its debut collection for the Meta Avatar Store. Since then, the multi-brand store has introduced its first Metacloset free-of-charge item – the signature flower bucket hat. The garment can be used on Meta’s platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger. The company reportedly plans to release collections for Meta every month, so digital fashionistas will have a chance to re-equip their Metaverse wardrobes very often.
