BlockBar drops limited-edition Hennessy NFTs
French cognac producer Hennessy launches a limited-edition NFT collection in partnership with spirits marketplace BlockBar.
The collection features 500 NFTs that provide individuals with a rare Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition cognac blend, which was crafted in 1979 using the brand’s finest eaux-de-vie.
Additionally to the possibility of claiming a unique 70cl cognac bottle, every holder will receive a glowing golden decanter and an animated 3D artwork designed by Copenhagen-born creator Veneda Carter. More than that, NFTs will grant holders early access to the Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition Magnum, which comes out in December.
“Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition” drops on September 23, at 4 PM CET. Select NFT holders can already access the release. The price of one NFT is 1.90 ETH or $2,500.
Jas Hennessy & Co., mostly known as “Hennessy,” is one of the most purchased cognacs in the world. The company is owned by Moët Hennessy, which belongs to Diageo (34%) and LVMH (66%).
“We are delighted Hennessy has chosen to partner with BlockBar yet again to release Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition exclusively. BlockBar is at the forefront of phygital gifting this holiday season. We’re excited to offer our community this unique offering combining an exclusive artwork by Veneda Carter with personalized gift messages and an investable asset-backed NFT of Hennessy Paradis Golden Edition,”
said the CEO and co-founder of BlockBar, Dov Falic.
Earlier this month, spirits marketplace BlockBar released an exclusive “ghost” whiskey NFT in partnership with Johnnie Walker and Gary Vaynerchuk’s Vayner3. In July, the marketplace dropped PATRÓN tequila NFTs and a one-of-one NFT of the rarest Japanese whisky in the world, “The Last Masterpiece 1970.”
