Josys Raises $93 Million in Series B to Fuel IT Operations Expansion
In Brief
Josys, a SaaS and Device Management Platform, has raised $93 million in a Series B funding round, achieving a tenfold increase in revenue since its Series A raise.
The company addresses the complexities of IT operations in the hybrid work era and offers solutions for cybersecurity, device lifecycle management, and software optimization.
Josys, a SaaS and Device Management Platform, announced that it successfully raised $93 million in a Series B funding round led by Global Brain and Globis Capital Partners, bringing its total funding to $125 million.
The achievement has been driven by the company’s substantial growth, marked by a tenfold increase in revenue since its Series A raise of $32 million in the previous September. With over 300 businesses utilizing its services, Josys aims to address the evolving challenges of IT operations in the era of hybrid work.
Founded in 2021 in Japan, Josys has played a key role in addressing the complexities in IT operations caused by the global shift to remote work and the widespread use of SaaS solutions.
The company acknowledges the urgent requirement for a centralized “single source of truth” in IT operations, comprehending the cybersecurity risks and shadow IT problems stemming from decentralized technology adoption.
Additionally, ensuring the timely procurement and management of work devices for remote employees has become paramount. Insufficient visibility into device lifecycles can lead to security and cost concerns.
Josys offers a comprehensive solution to such challenges through its integrated SaaS and Device Management platform. The platform empowers companies to automate and optimize the management of software applications and devices, providing centralized control and security. Moreover, Josys delivers IT outsourcing services for device lifecycle management, encompassing purchasing, configuration, shipping, repairing, and laptop and mobile device storage.
Yasukane Matsumoto, CEO of Josys, emphasized the company’s commitment to modernizing IT operations: “At Josys, our vision for ‘Better Systems, Better World’ drives us to reimagine the traditional IT operations playbook for the hybrid work era and deliver a next-generation LifecycleOps platform to help companies of all sizes establish efficient and secure practices for managing their applications and devices.
Josys has also embarked on a strategic expansion plan, extending its operations to North America and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions as of September 5. The expansion enables Josys to offer its SaaS and Device Management Platform to customers in these regions, providing IT outsourcing services for device lifecycle management. The platform is valuable for multinational organizations with global employees, as it significantly reduces IT onboarding time for overseas staff.
The Series B funding will facilitate geographic expansion and drive growth in Josys’ product and engineering teams, with plans to double headcount in the coming months. In addition, the company aims to expand its routes-to-market by establishing a managed service provider (MSP) network to enhance territory coverage and expedite service delivery.
The multinational startup with a mission to redefine IT operations for new-age businesses globally now boasts over 100 employees across the US, India, Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam. Josys plans to expand its IT outsourcing services to more than 100 countries by the end of 2025 as it pioneers solutions for the changing landscape of global businesses.
