The traditional auction house launched its web3-focused platform, Christie’s 3.0, in September 2022. To celebrate the launch, the platform auctioned artworks created by the 18-year-old visual artist and activist Diana Sinclair.
Since then, the house has auctioned several NFT collections. Among these is “Next Wave: The Miami Edit,” which included artworks by Ash Thorp, RhymezlikeDimez, Cory Van Lew, Ayla El-Moussa, Cath Simard, Zancan Andres Serrano, Dave Krugman, Sasha Stiles, Elf J Trul, Luis Ponce, Slimesunday, Goldcat, and art collective Random International.
In May this year, Christie’s 3.0 auctioned Jack Butcher’s “Checks.” All 152 artworks from the collection were sold, resulting in 50.10 ETH in sales.
