DressX announces the launch of its Genesis NFT collection
The NFTs drop on November 16
One piece will go for 0.05 ETH
Multi-brand digital fashion platform DressX continues blurring the boundaries between the metaverse and IRL. This time, the marketplace announces the upcoming launch of its Genesis NFT collection.
The drop will feature 444 randomly generated bucket hat wearables composed of 3D layers of futuristic accessories.
“Be on the lookout for floating lava bubbles, exploding chains, blooming flowers, and mirrored metallics,”
teases DressX in a Linkedin post.
The company aims to bridge virtual fashion and IRL, and the Genesis bucket hat will do it in a new way. NFT holders will have the possibility to wear the hat in meta looks or for profile picture photos. One NFT will go for 0.05 ETH (approximately $64 at the time of writing). The pre-sale of the collection starts on November 16, and individuals can now sign up for the allow list on a dedicated page.
Notably, DressX’s Genesis bucket hat is one of the first designs that came out on the platform in 2020. The hat is available free of charge for an AR look on the DressX website. It’s worth noting that more than a million users have tried it on.
In August this year, DressX also developed a bucket hat for Meta’s Avatar store. The release followed the successful launch of the company’s debut collection “Metacloset” in July.
The Metacloset bucket hat comes in two colors and is available in a digital-only format for free. Users can try it on via Meta’s platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger.
