Coca-Cola airdrops NFTs on July 30
Coca-Cola announces the airdrop of its newest “Friendship” NFT collection. It celebrates International Friendship Day and comes out on July 30.
Holders of NFT collections Pride Day 2022, Hamburger Day 2022, and the Coca-Cola Friendship Day Loot Box are eligible for this airdrop.
Friendship NFTs unlock the universe of Real Magic experiences, so owners will get early access to the company’s future drops, Coke Studio and Coca-Cola Creations. NFT holders will be able to share their digital collectibles with friends. It’s worth noting that the visual artwork will only be revealed once the NFT owner shares it with a friend.
“Bringing people together in shared moments has always been at the heart of Coca-Cola. Entering the Metaverse a year ago was our first step to connecting with people in a completely new and inspired way. International Friendship Day solidifies our commitment to the exciting and ever-changing digital world to build our community,” said the Head of Global Creative Strategy at Coca-Cola, Pratik Thakar.
Coca-Cola is not new to the NFT space. The company introduced its first collection last year and has airdropped more than 4,000 NFTs to the community since then.
In June, Coca-Cola released an LGBTQIA+ NFT collection to celebrate Pride Month. Limited-edition artworks were created in partnership with South African fashion designer Rich Mnisi.
