Bowling LBCs Are Digital Awards Based on Player Feedback
In Brief
The Professional Bowlers Association and Bowlero are launching “The League Bowler Certification Awards” program to reward bowling players with NFTs.
The Professional Bowlers Association and Bowlero, the parent company of the PBA, introduce “The League Bowler Certification Awards.” The latter is a revolutionary award system that recognizes bowling achievements using the power of NFTs.
Bowlero and PBA also teamed with Layer 3 Labs, a firm that helps traditional brands transition to web3, AVA Labs, and the cloud-based league management platform LeaguePals to launch this program. The initiative is built in Avalanche blockchain and enables The Professional Bowlers Association to offer modern rewards and features, such as blockchain-backed bowler certification. In addition, the company will develop its marketplace for digital collectibles.
With the new program, individuals’ bowling achievements will be commemorated with NFT rewards. The LBC ensures smooth operation, allowing bowlers to earn NFT rewards without requiring cryptocurrency. So, users participating in the initiative can earn NFTs that generate non-transferable and non-saleable Soulbound tokens.
During the first phase of the program, individuals can earn digital awards for achieving certain defined milestones. The second phase will feature a dynamic points-based system, where bowlers accumulate points for each achievement. Then, points can be used to acquire exclusive offers and exciting rewards.
“This awards program is revolutionary for the hundreds of thousands of league bowlers around the country, utilizing technology to award bowlers for their achievements. With this launch, we are demonstrating our commitment to optimizing the league bowler experience through innovative technology,”
said the Chief Strategy Officer of Bowlero Corp., Lev Ekster.
The PBA will reward successful bowlers on LeaguePals. The project does not require acquiring cryptocurrency rewards, but it does ensure that all league participants, even those who are unfamiliar with blockchain technology, can benefit from this revolutionary award system.
