Players have the possibility to win signed copies of Bebe Rexha’s new album and might receive personalized video messages from the artist.
Multi-platinum singer Bebe Rexha introduces her metaverse space dubbed “Bebeverse.” The initiative celebrates the release of her highly-anticipated third album entitled “Bebe.”
To develop the virtual world, Warner Records, where Rexha is signed, partnered with TerraZero. The Vancouver-based company helps brands and businesses get into the metaverse while offering bespoke solutions and activations.
When entering Rexha’s virtual world, users transform into personalized Bebe avatars. Following this, they can join other “Bebes” in a disco-inspired virtual space filled with colorful party lights. Like Bebe Rexha’s new album, the venue gets inspiration from the 70s. So, there is a 70s-style disco lobby, a classic heart car, and a disco roller ring. The experience features gamified arcades and mini-games. To activate the games, players must put on the roller skates. Individuals have the possibility to win exciting prizes, among which are signed copies of Bebe Rexha’s new album. In addition, game participants might receive personalized video messages from the artist.
Users can access the experience via both smartphones and desktops.
Notably, this is not the first time Bebe Rexha has launched a metaverse initiative for her fans to visit. On April 20, the singer introduced a virtual space to celebrate the launch of her “Satellite” single featuring Snoop Dogg. Called “The Mothership,” the virtual hotbox included a preview of Bebe’s new album and an interactive game.
On a side note, Snoop Dogg is not new to the metaverse either. In October this year, the world-known rapper and entrepreneur released a web3 music video in collaboration with Astro Project. Before that, the artist partnered with Eminem to bring the first-ever metaverse-inspired live performance to MTV’s Video Music Awards.
