Mocaverse Expands Presence in South Korea, Partners with Cube Entertainment, IPX Daehong Communication, Nine Chronicles M and GOMBLE
In Brief
Mocaverse announced multiple partnership agreements to expand the Mocaverse Partner Network for the South Korean market.
Membership network project initiated by Animoca Brands, Mocaverse, today entered into several partnership agreements with Cube Entertainment, digital IP platform IPX, Web3 gaming studios Planetarium Labs and Gomble Games, and the South Korean conglomerate LOTTE Group’s flagship non-fungible token (NFT) initiative, Bellygom, to expand the Mocaverse Partner Network in the South Korean market.
With the new partnerships, Mocaverse plans to bridge, integrate, and export South Korean Web3 culture, focusing on sectors including K-pop, digital IP, and GameFi, among others.
Users holding Moca NFTs and Moca IDs will be able to participate in a variety of carefully designed Web3 games and experiences by engaging in co-branded social IP activations and cross-program points swap missions with Mocaverse’s new partners, earning exclusive rewards and Realm Points through the Moca ID’s PointFi system.
Furthermore, there will be several creative collaborations, including a (G)I-DLE and Mocaverse mashup video, drawing inspiration from (G) I-DLE’s popular song “Queencard,” and a phygital cross-over with the LINE Friends collection that will engage more fans and attract retail users to Web3.
“Mocaverse is the hub of culture and entertainment in Web3, and we’re excited to bring our expertise across industries as South Korea becomes one of our core markets to watch in 2024. We see powerful opportunities for cross-project co-creation and celebrity-fan interaction,” said Alan Lau, chief business officer of Animoca Brands.
Mocaverse Redefines Web3 Experience
Mocaverse is a growth network featuring an interoperable infrastructure layer that includes Account, Identity, Reputation, and PointFi systems across the Mocaverse Partner Network. Its primary focus is on constructing an on-chain cultural economy.
Positioned at the core of the Animoca Brands ecosystem, Mocaverse has introduced the Web3 identity and PointFi system. This introduction empowers Moca NFT holders and Moca ID users to seamlessly navigate and engage in over 400 rewarding experiences within Animoca Brands’ investment portfolio. Additionally, it provides on-chain proof of reputation for enhanced transparency and trust in user interactions.
In an effort to connect the on-chain cultural economy with a broader user base, Mocaverse has recently collaborated with several self-custodial Web3 wallets, aiming to onboard more users through Moca ID to participate in diverse Web3 cultural experiences, including PointFi, GameFi, and SocialFi.
By establishing new strategic partnerships, Mocaverse is set to redefine the digital experience for users by engaging them in the vibrant on-chain cultural economy.
