9dcc Partners With Jeff Staples for Exclusive Phygital NFTs
In Brief
Gmoney’s luxury fashion label 9dcc partners with Jeff Staple.
Together with Staple’s NFT brand Stapleverse, 9dcc will release a collection of 250 physical baseball caps.
The items will be revealed on June 21.
Crypto influencer Gmoney’s luxury fashion label 9dcc partners with well-known sneakerhead, cultural influencer, and creator Jeff Staple. Together with Staple’s NFT brand Stapleverse, 9dcc will release a collection of limited-edition physical baseball caps.
The items will reportedly be made with the use of metal hardware. Interestingly, the caps will feature an embroidered pigeon illustration. A detail that might seem strange is actually trendy, with major fashion brands like JW Anderson releasing pigeon-formed items.
Overall, the collection will include 250 caps. They will reveal the pieces during Paris Fashion Week on June 21, however, the brands have not shared any sneak peaks. According to Gmoney, the items will get “the attention of the luxury, streetwear, fashion, and blockchain communities.” The collaboration will bring collectors several web3 integrations through a “9dcc Networked Product.”
Every baseball cap will feature an embedded near-field communication chip that will bring holders to gamified experiences, non-fungible token twins, and personalized POAPs. Interestingly, the NFT twins will enable users to customize their Stapleverse’s Sapienz NFTs. Stapleverse is a web3 ecosystem that focuses on streetwear fashion. The company has recently launched “Sapienz,” a collection of customizable profile picture-style artworks.
It’s worth noting that 9dcc and Jeff Staple will host a physical event in Staple’s Paris Fashion Week Showroom to inaugurate the launch of the collection. The showroom is located at 5 Rue Notre Dame de Nazareth. The brands will invite community members of Stapleverse, Admit One, and 9dcc to the event. Notably, individuals that attend the talk will have the possibility to acquire a baseball cap ahead of its release.
